Never before has it been possible to feel as much detail on the surface of a globe! Giant features of relief are based on a 50x vertical exaggeration, with mountain ranges standing an incredible 3/4" above sea water. Ideal for teaching about plate tectonics or submarine geology or navigation. The globe is molded of pristine white high-strength plastic (the blue color sample globe shown below is just for effect) and rests on a solid hardwood base. The globe may be painted with acrylic paints for a dramatic effect.
